Visit statistics

We count visits with Umami, privacy-focused software that we run ourselves on our own server in the European Union (Helsinki, Finland). For each page view it records the page, the referring site, your country, region and city (worked out from your IP address), browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language.

• No cookies, and nothing is written to your device.
• Your IP address is not stored: it is used only during the request to work out your location and an anonymous visit identifier (a one-way hash of the IP address and browser details), then discarded. The statistics server keeps no access logs.
• The records are not linked to your identity and are not followed across other websites.
• The statistics are not shared with or sold to anyone.
• If your browser sends the Do Not Track signal, the visit is not recorded.

Language choice

When you press LT or EN, a cookie called "lang" holding your choice is saved in your browser for a year, so the next visit opens in that language. It is the only cookie we set; it contains no personal data, so no consent banner is needed.

Games and demos

The /games and /cherry pages belong to this website and are counted in the same way. The games keep scores and settings only in your browser (local storage); they are not sent to a server. The /cherry demo embeds a YouTube video (youtube-nocookie.com): if you play it, YouTube's privacy policy applies.

Server logs

Like any web server, it may record technical request data (IP address, time, page) to keep the site running and secure. Logs are not used to profile visitors.
